Barak and Brazos Engineering Pvt Ltd. is conducting a walk-in interview in Bangalore for Mechanical Design Engineer positions. The company is looking for candidates with 3–8 years of experience in mechanical design, especially in LV/MV switchgear, switchboard design, sheet metal design, or piping engineering. There are 15 openings for this recruitment drive. The role is based onsite in Bangalore, and the salary will be discussed during the selection process.

The company provides engineering services to clients across the US and Europe. Selected candidates will get an opportunity to work on engineering projects involving product design, fabrication drawings, piping layouts and equipment modelling.

Job Role

The company is hiring Mechanical Design Engineers for two areas. Candidates with experience in LV/MV switchgear and switchboard design should have knowledge of electro-mechanical product design, sheet metal design, enclosure design, fabrication and assembly drawings. Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor is preferred.

For the piping engineering role, candidates should be familiar with piping design, piping layouts, isometric drawings, P&IDs, equipment modelling, pipe supports and structural modelling. Knowledge of ANSI, ASME, DIN or BS standards and tools such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, Inventor or E3D will be useful.

Eligibility

Candidates with a B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and 3–8 years of relevant experience can apply. Applicants should have practical knowledge of mechanical design and relevant engineering software. Experience in switchgear, sheet metal, electro-mechanical products or piping engineering will be preferred.
