Indecomm is conducting a walk-in interview in Bangalore for Senior Security Administrator – Antivirus. The role is suitable for experienced technology professionals with 3–8 years of experience in endpoint security, antivirus/EDR administration, vulnerability management and web security. The position involves managing security platforms, monitoring endpoint threats, handling vulnerabilities and supporting the organisation’s security infrastructure. Immediate to 15-day joiners are preferred.

Role & Who Can Apply

This is a cybersecurity administration role focused mainly on protecting company endpoints, servers and internet access. The selected candidate will manage Antivirus, EDR/XDR and endpoint protection platforms, monitor security alerts and take action when malware or suspicious activity is detected.

The role also includes vulnerability management and patch compliance. Candidates will work with tools such as Qualys VMDR, identify critical vulnerabilities, track remediation and coordinate with infrastructure teams for patching.

Another important part of the job is web and internet security, including administration of secure web gateways, URL filtering, access policies and Zero Trust security controls. Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, Trend Micro, Forcepoint Web Security or Fortinet SASE will be particularly relevant.

Candidates should also understand endpoint security on Windows/Linux systems, security incidents, malware indicators, CVE/CVSS-based vulnerability assessment and basic security monitoring. Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR, AWS/Azure and PowerShell or Python automation is an added advantage.

This position is best suited for professionals who have hands-on experience managing enterprise security tools rather than candidates looking for a general IT support role.

Key Skills

Candidates should have practical experience in Endpoint Security, Antivirus/EDR, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management and Web Security. Knowledge of CrowdStrike, Trend Micro, Qualys, Forcepoint or Fortinet can be useful for this role. Good troubleshooting, analytical thinking and communication skills are also required.
