Depending on the case, professionals may work on chargebacks, representment, pre-arbitration and arbitration for card networks such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
For the Senior Process Executive position, candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are required. The Process Specialist position is for candidates with 2–4 years of experience and involves handling more complex cases, reviewing dispute submissions and supporting the team with process knowledge and quality improvements.

About the Role
The role is mainly about investigating payment disputes and building a strong case for the merchant. You may have to check transaction details, payment records, customer communications, delivery or refund information and other supporting documents before deciding the appropriate action.
Candidates should understand chargeback reason codes and card-network rules and be comfortable preparing evidence for representment or further dispute stages. The work also involves coordinating with merchants, payment processors and internal teams to collect the required information within defined timelines.
For the Process Specialist level, the role goes beyond individual case handling. It can include reviewing complex or high-value disputes, checking the quality of submissions, helping team members understand dispute rules and identifying recurring problems that can lead to future chargebacks.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates must have 1–4 years of direct experience in International Merchant Disputes and Chargebacks. Experience with Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Discover dispute processes is specifically relevant. Knowledge of workflows such as VCR/MDR, representment, pre-arbitration and arbitration will be important.
The job requires good analytical and written communication skills because each dispute needs to be reviewed carefully and supported with the right evidence. Candidates should also be comfortable working from the office and with flexible/US working hours.
Important: Infosys BPM has specifically stated that only candidates with relevant International Merchant Card Disputes and Chargebacks experience will be considered.
